But I'm not quite sure what version of essentials insurgence runs and how This Mode7 Engine/script was used in Pokemon Insurgence for the Emolga fast travel. This Mode 7 engine needs multiple scripts to work. The file below is only one of the scripts that I've needed to make changes to so far. Pokemon Zeta and Pokemon Omicron is a unique Fan made pokemon game made with RPG Maker XP and Pokemon essentials. The script still has a few bugs in essentials such as making the game visually unplayable after battling on a 3D map, but you don't have to battle on a 3D map. I have hit a dead end and I am calling for help for anyone who is willing to. Through trial and error this has sometimes worked. My coding capabilities have been reading scripts, googling, and asking others for knowledge. With the Help of Vendily I have gotten essentials to run, but I can't load any maps that use the 3D script. Errors popped up and I couldn't get the game to load. With multiple tileset support, full autoshadow control, and a flexible features system, Ace gives you. Unfortunately I ran into a bunch of problems. RPG Maker VX Ace improves every aspect of RPG creation. I tried adding it to essentials 17.2 because that's the version I'm still the most comfortable with. I don't know which version of pokemon essentials it uses though. Someone had already thought of adding it to essentials! There is even a demo you can download. Luckily I found a thread posted on the PokeCommunity from 2012 It is actually a script that makes use of Mode 7 and Heightmaps to make the game basically 3D You can still get a whole lot out of newer makers, but for those with experience beyond just programming, XP is more than enough.Here is a script that can make the game look 3 Dimensional in rmxp (It can do more than that, read the post and watch a video!) hex editing) If this review goes over your head then I would recommend the much newer RPG makers because unlike XP, they're much easier to deal with. Anyway, if you want an RPG Maker where you can program outside the maker to later ween into the maker, than RPG Maker XP is your best bet, but you'd have to have extreme patience and know how to use other programs (i.e. I prefer to use my copy outside of Steam on Windows XP but because of modern needs and programming, I started to use my Steam copy again on Windows 10 so I'm able to later publish what I've made. I have used all the other RPG makers and gave them way more than a fair chance and none of them, (except 2003) allow the deeper stuff you can do with XP and 2003. The reason I claim this is because RPG Maker XP gives you the ability to go beyond what the other RPG makers allow you to do. Not everyone would agree with this though. The only RPG maker worth buying for the most experienced aside from 2003.
