Felix was quite put out, but he wasn't exactly in the position to protest. She was on her way to kill Gluttony, and had been using Felix as bait this entire time, hoping to lure the beast out. Shayde had been tailing Felix this whole time, and was quite impressed he hadn't gotten himself killed yet. They rove the tunnels, killing anything in their way that still lives and eating it, destined themselves to be eaten by Gluttony. Unfortunately, instead of taking him out of the cave as he intended, his swing merely took him further in thankfully safe from the hissing mass of scorpions.ĭusting himself off, Felix delved further into the cavern, intent on finding and destroying Gluttony once and for all (or at least until the Summoners raised it again). Zurat, colloquially called "the Razor Hills" for its penchant to murder travelers on its razor sharp rocks, razor sharp vines, or razor sharp tail blades of scorpions that happen to live there. In those shadows, Felix would find his first enemy (well Shayde would probably end up killing it, but Felix definitely had a chance of dying first).įelix had gotten a tip from Shayde on Gluttony's whereabouts the foothills near Mt. Shayde knew Felix could barely aim those hand cannons, much less swing the sword! He would have to take matters into his own hands if he expected anything other than Felix's death.Īnd so Shayde tailed Felix to Gluttony's subterranean lair, the terrifying entrance reshaped by dark magic to appear as a enormous gaping maw of shadow. Eventually, even Shayde tired of attempting to whip Felix into hunting shape, and gave him a pile of gold to buy whatever he wanted.įelix, forever posing for an invisible pict-captur that isn't there, bought all of the coolest things he could find and here is the result.Īn expensive haircut, new (extra large) guns, and the biggest sword he could find. Shayde, determined to save face after being snubbed, expended some of his own personal fortune to outfit Felix as well as possible of course Felix took this a bit too far, focusing on everything he thought would make him look "cool" instead of what might actually be effective. Zurat summoners would find out they sent someone after the bounty they were denied, and Felix was out of their hair once and for all. We can do much more effects than what I shown by using several at the same time or just by changing settings.The Bounty Hunters Guild decided they didn't really want to prove a point all that bad, so they sent Felix after the dread beast Gluttony. There's also an option to disable them at the very beginning of the script. The opacity of shadows declines with the brightness of the map, ie no shade from the sun at night.Īuto shadows of VX and VXace are managed by this script. The shadows are not above but below all, you can have the head passes in front of a shadow, however characters darken when they walk in the shade. The shadows are not superposed (which is absurd), but merged. The shadows on the other hand are not dynamic, lights generate no shadow, shadows must be placed manually, much like on VXace, we can consider that they are all shadows of the sun. Thus lights illuminate the night, ie you can set the screen tone to whole black (-255) and lights will act like holes in a mask and will allow us to see the map clearly. There are already a lot of scripts to do that, but my goal with this one is to do something different. This script allows you to display lights effects and shadows.
